Bahubali is the Director of Public Cloud Solutions for VMware Cloud Services at VMware. He leads a team of Cloud Architects evangelizing and developing solutions for improving public cloud operations (AWS/Azure/GCP). Bahubali was part of the initial team that developed and launched VMware Cloud Services. Previous to VMware, was Director of Product Management at VCE (now Dell) for Cloud Management Products. Between 2011-2014, Bahubali lead operations at Cumulus Networks, lead AWS cloud operations at several startups, and headed an open source routing software project. Between 2008-2010, Bahubali lead the cloud investment practice at Storm Ventures. He spent 9 years at Cisco in product management and business development. He holds a M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers Engineering.
Ed Shmookler is a Staff Cloud Specialist SE as part of the VMware Cloud on AWS team, supporting customers across all verticals in South-East US, and Latin America. Ed holds multiple certifications in virtualization, networking and security and has over 18 years of technical IT industry sales experience. Prior to his role at VMware, Ed held multiple roles across Cisco and Citrix where he helped foster synergies and launch Data Center solutions across Federal and Enterprise customers.
Emad Younis is a Staff Technical Marketing Architect and VCIX 6.5-DCV working in the Cloud Platform Business Unit, part of the R&D organization at VMware. He currently focuses on the vCenter Server Appliance, vCenter Server Migrations, and VMware Cloud on AWS. Alex is a long time enterprise software guy with a focus on Cloud. Today, Alex is a Group Product Manager in the VMware on AWS team at VMware. Previously, he worked within the vSphere business unit on Software Defined Storage. Prior to VMware, Alex worked at NetApp where he was the lead architect for the NetApp Private Cloud solution team. He is the author of “Why We Fail” which is about Enterprise Private Cloud adoption. Alex has worked for several Fortune 500 companies in a variety of Program Management, Consulting and Architectural roles including a twelve-year stint at Microsoft.
Justin Murray is a technical marketing architect at VMware in Palo Alto, where he works in the fields of big data, analytics and machine learning. In this role, he delivers technical consulting and creates guidance material for VMware’s customers and partners. This is to enable them to best utilize VMware technology for those big data application areas, both in on-premises scenarios and on VMware Cloud on AWS.
Kyle Ruddy is a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer working for VMware R&D in the Cloud Platform Business Unit. As Director of Strategic Alliances Marketing for AWS, Ken Won is responsible for joint VMware/AWS marketing programs and campaigns. Before joining VMware, Ken spent over 20 years in the high tech. industry in various marketing roles at companies including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, AMD and Force10 Networks. Ken has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
Nimisha Mahuvakar leads Product Marketing for Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) at VMware. She launched the HCX to the market and lead product management of HCX for VMware cloud on AWS. Before VMware, Nimisha has over 20 years’ experience in networking space, gained from companies like, Facebook, Apple, Cisco and Juniper as well at 3 successful startups at bay area. Nimisha has brought up industry first Gigabit Router in the world. She has participated in design first super computer of India. Nimisha has experience in hardware engineering, software engineering and marketing. She holds MS in EE from USC and has acquired post graduate management certificates from University of Berkeley and Stanford University.
Chief Operating Officer, Products and Cloud Services Raghu Raghuram joined VMware in 2003 and has joint responsibility with Dr. Rajiv Ramaswami for all VMware’s product and service offerings and centralized services, support and operational functions. In this role, Raghuram’s primary focus is on VMware’s cloud services offerings. During his tenure at VMware, Raghuram has held multiple leadership roles, most recently leading the company’s software-defined data center business as the executive vice president and general manager, where he was responsible for the division’s strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. Prior to that he led the company’s cloud infrastructure and management business as the general manager, and led worldwide product marketing, product management and business planning for VMware's virtual infrastructure. Raghuram began his career at VMware running product management for ESX and vSphere. Prior to VMware, Raghuram held product management and marketing roles at AOL, Bang Networks and Netscape. Raghuram holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Hari Ramakrishnan is the Senior Director of SaaS Transformation & Operations at VMware, where he has held a number of product, go-to-market, and operations roles. Before VMware, Hari was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group and prior to that spent several years at Oracle, in both product engineering & IT consulting roles. Hari has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani (India), a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Yang Liang is a Product Marketing Manager in the Cloud Management Business Unit at VMware. He currently leads product marketing for Log Intelligence and vRealize Log Insight. Prior to VMware, Yang was a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting and an Industrial Engineer at Siemens. Yang received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business and his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.
